My earliest memories of Junior Achievement’s programs were as a 3rd grader sitting in the local bank office where my mom worked, and sitting in with the middle school and high school kids who were developing their products they would sell in the community. I can’t recall all aspects of the experience, but I clearly recall the energy and enthusiasm the kids displayed in the sessions and my mom’s excitement when those dates were coming up.
JA has only grown in its significance and impact since this time quite long ago and I am proud to witness first hand the incredible things that our fine franchise JA-Rocky Mountain has delivered to further JA’s mission for students in our Mile High community.

Shawn Barker currently sits on the Junior Achievement-Rocky Mountain Board of Directors.
