The Junior Achievement-Rocky Mountain (JA-Rocky Mountain) Board of Directors is pleased to announce that they have appointed Ethan Hemming to serve as the organization’s next President and CEO. Ethan will officially begin his role as President and CEO on December 1, 2026. To ensure a thoughtful and seamless transition, Robin Wise will continue in her role through the end of the year and will work closely with Ethan during the transition and beyond.
Ethan joins JA-Rocky Mountain from Warren Village, where he has served as President and CEO since 2016. During his tenure, he led strategic growth initiatives, expanded community partnerships, and oversaw the development of a third campus serving families across Denver. Prior to Warren Village, he served as Executive Director of the Colorado Charter School Institute and held several leadership roles with Denver Public Schools, where his work focused on expanding educational opportunities and supporting young people and families.
Headlines and Accomplishments:
- Ethan demonstrated the ability to lead through significant growth and organizational transformation. He expanded Warren Village from a single-campus operation with a $3M budget to a $12M organization with three campuses, serving nearly twice as many families, leading a major facility expansion, strategic partnerships, and organizational redesign while maintaining mission focus.
- Ethan has a strong fundraising and external partnership orientation, including bringing in new transformational corporate and foundation partnerships at Warren Village.
- A savvy operational leader, Ethan brings deep experience designing and executing strategic plans for Warren Village, Colorado Charter Schools Institute, and Denver Public Schools, including managing complex budgets, overseeing performance management systems, working closely with large governing boards.
- He brings a genuine connection to and enthusiasm for the JA mission and commitment to free enterprise. At Warren Village, he has been a champion for self-sufficiency, economic mobility, and financial literacy.
