Junior Achievement-Rocky Mountain, Inc. was founded and incorporated in 1950 as a Colorado nonprofit corporation to provide financial education programs free of charge to students, helping them to gain a fundamental understanding of business, economics, and entrepreneurship. JA’s mission is to prepare young people to thrive in the 21st century workplace and global economy by inspiring a passion in free enterprise and entrepreneurship, and instilling an understanding of personal financial literacy. JA is a not-for-profit tax-exempt corporation under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Donations are tax-deductible to the full extent permissible under law.
