Our class from the DCSD Bridge Program in Parker had an absolutely outstanding experience at the Daniels Fund JA Dream Accelerator! The educational and interactive format was truly exceptional, providing our students with a fantastic and engaging learning environment.
The career goal stations were perfectly designed to be both informative and hands-on, allowing students to explore various paths in a timely and interactive manner. Every station was thoughtfully crafted to address their individual goals, sparking curiosity and excitement about their future possibilities.
We were particularly impressed by the incredible volunteers. Their dedication, enthusiasm, and willingness to help made a significant impact on our students’ experience. They were patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in guiding each student through the activities.
The level of student engagement was remarkable. They were fully immersed in the activities, asking thoughtful questions and actively participating in each station. The entire experience was seamless, well-organized, and incredibly valuable.
We left the JA Dream Accelerator feeling inspired and confident that our students had gained valuable insights into their career aspirations. We are already looking forward to our next visit!
The DCSD Bridge Program prepares young adults with developmental disabilities for life after high school in the areas of daily living, employability, community access, social-emotional, and community connections.
