Colorado Business Hall of Fame 2020 inductee, Judith Wagner, accepts her award from two JA students.

The Colorado Business Hall of Fame pays tribute to the state’s most distinguished business leaders and raises $500,000 annually to support JA-Rocky Mountain and Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce programs. Laureates are selected for their lasting professional and philanthropic contributions to Colorado.

This year, rather than inducting a new class of laureates, JA and the Chamber will honor past inductees during a one-hour special airing on Rocky Mountain PBS. Colorado Business Hall of Fame: Stories of Grit, Grace, and Grand Vision, will look back on the 32-year history of the institution and highlight some of the inductees who shaped Colorado communities, culture, and economy. The special will air on Thursday, January 28, 2021, at 7 pm.

Additionally, beginning in December and running through April, Rocky Mountain PBS viewers can expect to see a series of one-minute “spotlights” on some of the Colorado Business Hall of Fame’s past inductees.

Rounding out the celebration, JA and the Chamber are partnering with the company Techstars to produce a virtual Colorado Business Hall of Fame Summit, which will be livestreamed online. The event, made possible by Education Sponsor UMB Bank, will feature an inspiring panel discussion between two past laureates, and two up and coming entrepreneurs.
