40 High Schools Converged to Compete

SMC

Students from 42 Colorado high schools converged to compete at 2014 JA Stock Market Challenge, presented by Great-West Financial last week. The JA Stock Market Challenge is a live stock market simulation game, featuring teams of students who compete to see who can grow their initial $500,000 investment into the largest net worth “mock” stock portfolio.

Students applied what they learned in the JA Take Stock in Your Future classroom lessons to this unpredictable ride through the highs and lows of the stock market.
